Welcome Home Sunday – August 28

We are extremely excited about our new annual “Welcome Home Sunday.” This years festivities will be held on Sunday, August 28th. We will be having a wonderful service welcoming both old and new to our worship and Bible classes. Former members, new college students, new members from the community, and existing members will spend a wonderful day together in worship, in study, in fellowship, and food.

We will begin our day with our worship, then Bible classes, and then we will be inviting all those who attended our first service to visit our “ministry fair” tables in the lobby. Here you can find out all about the different ministries at Fishinger and find ways you can serve. We will also begin serving finger food down in the fellowship hall (not a full meal – just a light snack) at this time and have some outdoor games for all the children in the area behind the building. Once our second service is out, all will be joined together to visit the ministry tables and fellowship.

In the evening, after our evening worship time, there will be special events from the Youth and College/Young Professionals. Parents are invited to learn more about the Youth Ministry – ably led by Landen Wright. The College and Young Professionals program will meet in the College Room and go over all of the new events for the fall, international mission trips, and more. The day will wrap up with a combined devotional (Youth and College).
